View - Market Basket Tree
Market Basket Analysis (or Affinity
analysis) is used to understand the purchase behaviour of
groups of customers, and use it for cross selling, store
design, discount plans and promotions.
In Salesmatrix the Market Basket Tree displays a graphical view of the purchasing relationships between products in a cascading tree view. The
tree displays Market Basket combinations of up to 5 items from
the most common combinations and decreasing. The number of items
displayed is controlled by the percentages chosen in the Options
Intelligence settings.  Individual Items Sold list the
times each product was sold, and gives a comparison against the
total Market basket sales. Confidence measures the likelihood
that a customer on choosing one of the items in the basket will
also purchase the other items to complete the total basket
